The Calgary Flames introduced Tuesday that they’ve relieved head coach Glen Gulutzan and assistant coaches Dave Cameron and Paul Jerrard of their teaching duties.

Gulutzan had been with the Flames the previous two seasons.

He led Calgary to an 37-35-10 file this season, lacking the playoffs after a stretch of seven straight losses in March doomed the workforce. Calgary completed with 84 factors, 11 factors shy of a wild-card berth.

The Flames made the postseason final season after going 45-33-4, however have been swept within the first spherical by the Anaheim Ducks. Gulutzan, 46, beforehand coached the Dallas Stars for 2 seasons from 2011-13. He has a 82-68-14 profession file within the NHL.
