After years of residents in Harrietsfield, N.S., pleading for clear ingesting water, the Nova Scotia authorities has lastly stepped in.

Nova Scotia Environment Minister Iain Rankin has signed off on an order that can permit for a website evaluation at a former development and demolition website in Harrietsfield, N.S.

The province says Nova Scotia Lands Inc. will fee a website evaluation this summer season to find out the extent of contamination, how lengthy it’ll take to remediate, and the way a lot it’ll price.
