MOSCOW — Google mentioned Thursday that its doc writing software Google Documents was safe at the same time as Russian web customers found scores of recordsdata that seemed to be supposed for personal use.

The Russian web firm Yandex mentioned in an announcement that some customers contacted the corporate Wednesday to say that its public search engine was yielding what seemed like private Google Documents recordsdata, suggesting there might have been a knowledge breach.

On Wednesday night time, Russian social media customers began posting scores of such paperwork, together with an inner memo from a Russian financial institution, press summaries and firm enterprise plans. The veracity of these paperwork couldn’t be independently confirmed.
