Former Wimbledon finalist Eugenie Bouchard says she is going to honor a promise to move on a blind date with a Twitter follower after shedding a Super Bowl wager.

When the Atlanta Falcons gave the impression headed for a runaway victory in Houston on Sunday, the tennis participant tweeted to her 1,000,000 fans: “I knew Atlanta would win btw.”

That brought on a follower to invite her if she would move on a date if the New England Patriots pulled off a comeback victory.

Bouchard agreed, and was once left to be apologetic about it after the Patriots defied the chances to win in time beyond regulation.

“Lesson learned. Never bet against (Patriots quarterback) Tom Brady,” she tweeted.

On Monday, Bouchard mentioned she would “stay true to my word” and move at the date along with her fan, who says he’s from Chicago and is finding out in Missouri.

Bouchard, 22, was once a emerging big name in 2014 when she reached the Wimbledon ultimate, however has slipped to 45th in the newest girls’s scores.
