Jason Spencer, the Republican Georgia politician who dropped his pants, screamed the N-word and spoke mock Chinese phrases on Sacha Baron Cohen’s satirical present Who is America?, will resign after initially resisting calls to take action.

Spencer featured in a phase on the present’s second episode.

It confirmed him collaborating in a mock coaching session led by Col. Erran Morad, an Israeli soldier portrayed by Cohen.

“Are you crazy? The N-word is ‘noonie’!” Cohen stated as Morad.

“Not this word, this word is disgusting.”

Spencer was then satisfied to drop his pants and his underwear and present his posterior in an effort to fend off a terrorist.

In the wake of the clip’s airing on Sunday night time, Georgia House speaker David Ralston stated Spencer had disgraced himself and “should resign immediately,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Spencer apologized for what he referred to as a “ridiculously ugly episode” however initially refused to resign.

But The Washington Post reported Tuesday that Spencer had given his resignation to the House speaker’s workplace.

His resignation will take impact July 31, CNN reported.

In a press release reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Spencer stated he was “fraudulently induced” to partake “in bogus self-defense and terrorism training” after laws he introduced ahead in 2016 “provoked death threats against me and my family.”

“They exploited my state of mind for profit and notoriety,” he stated.

Spencer’s proposed laws would have saved ladies from sporting burqas on public property — on Who is America?he stated, “I don’t call it a burqa ban, I call it an anti-masking statute.”

The proposed laws was withdrawn after Republican leaders criticized it.

Had Spencer stayed in his place as much as January, he would have been in a position to attract medical health insurance at public expense for the remainder of his life.
