Heather Bowlby, a researcher with Halifax’s Bedford Institute of Oceanography, says the three-metre juvenile male shark was tagged off southwest Nova Scotia final week.
Bowlby says the tag info will help in understanding nice white shark actions off Canada, and assist inform safety measures for the endangered species.

The information comes as Ocearch, an American group, is in Nova Scotia to start shark analysis, hoping to tag some mature females and observe them to a birthing website.
Ocearch is greatest recognized in Nova Scotia for tagging Hilton, a star nice white shark who frequently reveals his location in a Twitter feed that has nearly 45,000 followers.
Hilton was off Cape Breton on Saturday.
