Austrian Bundesliga side who finished 7th last season has signed former Kosovo International on free who was released in January this year by AEL Limassol. He is a Schalke 04 product who was once supposed to be a young prospect but his injuries limited his potential & haven’t got much regular time in his former spells. Since leaving Germany he has played in the Netherlands, Turkey, Scotland & recently in Cyprus. He has also played in Austria with SK Sturm on Loan where he scored 9 Goals in 42 games.

Donis Avdijaj on the engagement in Hartberg: “I am really looking forward to the task in Hartberg. It’s a great club that is very stable and holds up very well. I want to draw attention to myself again, show what I can do and who I am. Hartberg is the perfect address for that. You trust me, I trust the club. I think we can be successful together. That’s the most important thing!”

Erich Korherr , chairman and managing director: “Donis has already shown what potential he has. We are convinced that he will continue to strengthen us offensively. He has had turbulent years. In the conversations, however, I immediately noticed that he is really looking forward to the task and is already in the starting blocks with a lot of passion and commitment. It is also positive that he already knows some of the players from his storm past very well. “
